The service

The Dialogue Map (intellectia.me) is a reading guide: a map of texts, the relationships between them, reading paths and debates. It is run by [operator’s legal name and postal address, to be added before launch]. You can browse it without an account; an account lets you track your reading and keep notes.

Your account

Use a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time.

Using the site

Do not try to break, overload or scrape the service, get into other people’s accounts, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content

Summaries, relationship explanations, paths and debates are written by our editors and are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with a link back. The books themselves belong to their authors and publishers; we link to editions and, when one exists, to a free public-domain copy.

We work to make every claim accurate and give our sources, but the map is an interpretation of intellectual history, not a substitute for reading the texts. Tell us when you find a mistake.

Your content

Your notes and highlights are private and remain yours. If you publish a reading list, you allow us to show it at its public link until you switch it off.

Links and purchases

Some book links are affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure. Purchases are made with the shop, under the shop’s terms.

Paid plans

There are no paid plans yet. If they launch, their price, renewal and cancellation terms will be set out before you pay.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or end parts of the service. We will give notice of changes that affect account holders. The service is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use.
